igus®

The igus® story began in a double garage on 15th October 1964, as a manufacturer of complex technical polymer components. In 1983 the two distinct product groups of plastic Energy Chain systems and plastic bearings were established. These seemingly unrelated products are linked together through the belief in making functionally advanced, yet affordable, maintenance free polymer components and assemblies.

Since then, igus® has grown to almost 2000 employees worldwide, with subsidiaries in more than 21 countries.

igus® UK Limited was founded in a small office 1991 in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Today igus® UK is based in a 2,800 square feet industrial unit just 10 minutes away from the M1, enabling even quicker collection and delivery times.
